2026 Tree Seedling Sale
We are currently taking orders for our 2026 tree seedling sale. There are limited quantities available. The order deadline is March 6, 2026. Please make checks payable to Defiance SWCD, 06879 Evansport Road, Suite C, Defiance, OH 43512. The Defiance SWCD makes every effort to provide excellent quality stock, but we cannot provide any guarantees of survival or growth. Tree pickup will be tentatively held April 16-17 at the Defiance SWCD office. Order forms may be dropped off at the Defiance SWCD office or emailed to baschemeier@defiancecounty.oh.gov
We are happy to present online ordering/pay with credit/debit card or e-check. There is a service fee associated with using online pay.

Did you know that the Defiance SWCD has been conducting an annual tree sale since 1975? If you see a tree planting in Defiance County, it is very possible that they were purchased at our annual sale and thoughtfully planted by the landowner. Customers are eager to share their successes and failures. Some people have made this an annual tradition, planting a few trees every year, to look back and see that they have planted a forest. Others enjoy a few beautiful specimens in their yard. If you would like to plant some trees but don’t know where to start, call Defiance SWCD for guidance on species, tips on planting, and even rental of tree planting equipment.
